About me

I am Jaana Rusi, I was born in Finland, and I lived in Berlin, Germany during 1987 to 2014.

I started my professional career working in offices. During those years I was able to gather many experiences, which make it easier for me to understand my clients in their personal crisis.

In January 2009 I was granted qualification to practice alternative psychotherapy (Landesamt für Gesundheit und Soziales, Berlin). Since June 2015 I am qualified Solmuja parisuhteessa® -counselor (certification by Kataja ry, Helsinki).

From 2009 and 2010 I worked at Frauenkrisentelefon e.V. Berlin (tele-counseling for women in crisis), between 2011 to 2013 I worked as hospice carer at Lazarus Hospiz, Berlin.

During 2011 to 2013 I operated several support groups for women in crisis and supported clients via individual counseling in Berlin, Germany.

After almost 30 years of living in Berlin, I am back in Finland. Here I continue working as a counselor for individuals and couples as well as operator for women’s support groups.
